Child development
From the beginning, babies and toddlers are active participants in their development. Your child loves to be active, and naturally does developmental movements when given the chance. Her movements are wired neuro-programs that enable your child to flourish in every arena of her little being.
Developmental support for your well child
If your child is lagging or skipping milestones we can move development along through movement therapy sessions and a dedicated home program. Parents learn to read small cues and how to relate to your unique child in mindfulness.
Developmental support for your child with challenges
If your child is experiencing delay or profound challenge, he can fulfill his innate capacities through simple, powerful play. A full range of developmental and integrative bodywork are brought to support your child.
Offer core experiences
Your child’s first developmental pathways are movement, touch, and relationship. Understanding the developmental movements can be a source of joy and insight as you parent your ever-changing child. In these activities, your child grows into emotional balance, secure sense of self, attention and thinking, as well as strength and alignment. Early movements are core experiences that underlie future development.
Babies and toddlers
Your baby’s best start begins in the earliest days and continues as they grow. Is your baby delayed or skipping milestones such as tummy time, coming in/out of sitting, and crawling or walking? Did your toddler skip any of these early formative movements? Did your child have a difficult birth? We can always revisit earlier phases and help those developmental activities to fulfill.
Every child contains within themself the capacity to develop. If your child experiences developmental delay, their inner resources for neuro-development can be awakened through playful movement and gentle touch therapies. You can learn simple, focused activities to support your little one in daily life. Your growing child can move towards his developmental milestones and find his way past the labels.
